After reading Chapters 1 and 2 select a Theorist whose work most closely aligns with your thoughts regarding early development. Describe the theorist’s work and discuss how their work aligns with your own understanding and beliefs.Here is some information you may consider reviewing prior to answering Discussion Question 2: Review the theorists in Chapters 1 & 2 of Children’s journeys: Exploring early childhood (Lefrançois, G. R. (2012) (attached) Chapter 2 has more quite a bit more information per theorist, so you may find any of those theorists a bit easier to discuss. In your post, be sure to briefly discuss the theorist’s work. Spend the majority of your post comparing your beliefs about child develop and the specific ways your beliefs align to that theorist.
